William's musical journey began at the age of 9 when he discovered his exceptional ability to play
the piano by ear. His prodigious talent caught the attention of BBC England, and he had the privilege
of being featured in a broadcast by renowned reporter Jacob Tomlinson. Encouraged by his former teacher, Mrs. Leadbeater at Castleton Primary School, William was supported in pursuing formal
piano lessons.

With his innate musicality and dedicated practice, William achieved an impressive feat by attaining ABRSM Grade 5 with distinction, skipping grades 1 and 4 altogether. He diligently worked under the guidance of his 30-minute weekly private lessons with Mrs. Jo Brook, honing his skills and deepening his understanding of the piano.

Recognizing his immense potential, William was admitted to the prestigious Leeds Conservatoire, where he continued his musical education. He engaged in SMS (Saturday Music School) lessons and
became an active participant in the Yorkshire Young Musicians program, devoting his Sundays to further musical growth for an additional year.

The culmination of William's dedication and talent came with the award of a five-year scholarship at Chetham's School of Music from 2020 to 2025. Currently in his third year of studies, he continues to excel and make significant strides in his musical development.

William's passion for music goes beyond his personal achievements. He finds great joy in performing on piano trails across the country and internationally, captivating audiences with his expressive and
enthralling performances. His reputation as a gifted pianist led to an invitation to perform at a prestigious international concert series, as part of summer festival 2023, organized by The Leeds International Piano Competition and the University of Leeds.

In addition to his concert engagements, William is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He actively participates in charity events, using his music to raise funds for causes close to his heart. Recognizing the power of education and literacy, he also dedicates his time to reading books to children, fostering a love for learning and the arts.

His efforts have not gone unnoticed, as he was honored with a hero medal from the NHS for his contributions and received a trophy from Hollywood Universal Studios in the USA as an Inspiring Young Ambassador. Furthermore, he was recognized as the star of the year in 2023, solidifying his position as a rising star in the music industry.
